Commercial grade air hockey mallets are felt-less. Although any mallet can be used, what the general consumer does not know is that your "commercial" grade mallets typically do not have felt. More commonly they are solid in construction on the bottom. To keep the mallets smooth, use our light weight sandpaper to lightly sand out the nicks and bumps.
